Next, we devote our time and resources to handling your case as quickly and efficiently as possible. Many firms will delegate work to Paralegals or contract attorneys. You will be regularly updated on your case, given copies of court filings and timely notified of court dates.
Finally, we will work with you to reach a resolution in your case. If we cannot amicably resolve your case, we are prepared to zealously advocate on your behalf in court. The lawyers in our firm have a proven trial record with nearly ten years of jury trial experience and hundreds of bench trials.

Criminal Law
INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.
Facing a criminal charge can be a difficult and scary event to handle. Not every person charged with a crime is entitled to a court appointed attorney. The possibility of punishment involving jail, probation, community service and payment of costs requires professional legal representation. Some of the additional consequences can include loss of employment, ability to obtain employment and damage to personal and professional reputation. Many employers, banks and rental agencies require a background check before approving applications. It is imperative to obtain legal counsel as early as possible to protect your rights and prepare your defense.
The criminal defense lawyers at Brown and Landry, Attorneys at Law, LLP, focus on the defense of those accused of violating criminal laws. We represent persons charged with both misdemeanor and felony offenses in state and federal courts.
The government can utilize a vast amount of resources not available to the accused. Police officers and prosecutors have a wide range of resources at their disposal to collect evidence to be used in court against you. The lawyers in this firm work hard to review every aspect of your case and ensure from beginning to end the rights of the accused were not violated and to prepare effective defense strategies. We represent people in the investigative stages, at trial, in plea negotiations, and on appeal in Texas state and federal courts. We also handle probation revocation, occupational drivers license and bond hearings.
If you are facing criminal charges, you should be represented by an experienced attorney who understands the complexities of the criminal justice system. Our office employs a former prosecutor, who has the knowledge and insight to ensure your rights are fully protected.
